London: 9 March 2010 Flash Alert! Flash Alert! Flash Alert! Flash Alert! It was back to the Strand tonight for the World Premiere of the sequel to a work that has grossed near billion in the twenty odd years it has been going. The show was Phantom and the sequel is called Love Never Dies. By the look of the pavement jamming crowd and fine list of celebs that showed up, it is going to do OK. I was unable to do camera duties tonight due to feeling under the weather, but my buddy headed down there to do the capturing and dropped off the footage for me to edit and publish. Many thanks. The pavement area outside the Adelphi theatre is small and there were paps at either side of the barrier with fans vying for a space. Such was the crush there was very little opportunity for signing. Celebs in attendance: Richard E Grant Rhydian Roberts Joanna Page Rupert Everett Michael Winner Sir Terry Wogan Rory Bremmer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber Sir Tim Rice Anneka Rice Sir Michael and Shakira Caine Chris Evans Sir David Frost Michael Ball Duncan James Sheridan Smith Cilla Black Gerard Butler As usual, please let me know of omissions, errors and comments. Thank you. Original in AVCHD Copyright elizabethtoni 2010

Huey Lewis & the News (live) - I want a new drug
Huey Lewis & The News came to Germany for a gig at the E-Werk in Cologne in 1991. The blooded musicians from San Francisco did a terrific show playing the highlights of their albums “Picture This”, “Sports” “Fore!” and “Hard at Play”. With a mixture of rock ‘n roll and rhythm ‘n blues, frontman Hugh Anthony Cregg III and his five band members gave an authentic music presentation to the audience. This is a great version of their song “I want a new drug” which is introduced by a long guitar solo from Chris Hayes.
