Took me a few weeks to put this one up, had to ask for permission from formengr before putting it up. It was on the PureLiveGigs but you had to download it from the Radiohub. For those not in the know, the Radiohub has a lot of Radiohead content on, but it is solely for the purpose of sharing between the people who use the hub, not for mass consumption like my Radiohead channel is. However with it being listed on PLG, I asked Formengr if that meant it was ok to be used here, and he ok’d that on Saturday. It’s great to see Thom halt a song to help someone who is in need of medical assistance, and even keeps the crowd updated on the guys wellbeing, what a nice bloke. Apparently this misses “The Gloaming” which was the first song played. I wasn’t so sure on this video, the quality on the DVD is good, but not amazing, it’s also a bit of a shaky audience shot but in moments like 1:34:20 it looks very very good. Is it worth utilizing HD? I’m not so blown away by it. Asked a few people to take a look at it and they say it’s fine. Also at times the audience sing along or talk in the background. Sadly the only soundboard stuff is from the next day! D’oh. Not the most amazing visual quality with this once, that’s why I stuck just with high quality video instead of ‘HD’. The video blacks out a little bit for the first 4 songs, and Bulletproof is almost fully black, but after the first portion of the video the recorder (rozy) manages to get a good sight of the stage and records pretty successfully from there in. The audio for the DVD is actually the audience shot audio, so a lot of crowd noise. However I was able to locate the soundboard audio and after a couple of hours work I synced it up to the original audio and am able to present this video with top notch audio. I’ll provide a link to the MP3 audio download too.
